Sekhane amar daager bhare roilo lekha,
Jontronay mora kichu mitthe
--Amaar otironjito byakkha.
Nishwes haye aj abeg daanir sesh fota
Tobuo ki bhorbena jodi buke dhori byatha etota,
Samne andhokare tomar deshe
Amaar rod furay dorjar gorad gheshe.
Sohoj kare nijer majhe sajiye chilam din
Asole bujhini kata mure tomay karechi heen,
Tai to aj khomar pore mrityu diyeche daak,
Jodi na paro dhorte buke,
Tomar sorir jure amar agochalo prem thak....
